The Guides are intended to be a resource for uniforming, equipping and portraying a British regiment in America during the middle period of the War for Independence. They were inspired by The 18th Century Material Culture Resource Center slideshows. They are not definitive or a final say. The Guides should remain a work-in-progress, being amended and revised so that they evolve with new information, interpretation and understanding of the period.
